Industry 4.0
Industry 4.0 (also referred to as Work 4.0 or the Fourth Industrial Revolution) is a term used to describe the current trend of digitization, related automation of production, and the changes in the labor market that it brings with it. (Source: Wikipedia)

Predictive Maintenance (Source: Wikipedia)
When implementing predictive maintenance, data from sensors, control units, technician reports, complaints, the number of defective products, staffing, and other data sources affecting operations are statistically analyzed. Based on identified correlations and causalities between various factors, planned maintenance and part replacement are scheduled before the components’ service life ends.
Early notification of an emerging fault can significantly reduce costs associated with production downtime, such as waiting for spare parts.
Accelerometer
An accelerometer is a component or device that measures linear and rotational acceleration. It is used in modern electronics for example to detect orientation (for screen rotation in mobile devices), in game controllers (to detect the position of the controller), in camera stabilizers, or to detect vibration or fall (such as in hard drives to safely park the read/write heads before impact).
