IoT Lessons with HARDWARIO TOWER
This course was created in cooperation between HARDWARIO a.s. and the Technical University of Liberec within the framework of the grant support from the Liberec Region. The aim is to provide students and teachers with a practical tool to explore the world of the Internet of Things (IoT) through the HARDWARIO TOWER electronic kit.
The course is designed to guide participants from the connection of the very first module to the creation of their own IoT applications.
π What to Expectβ
Throughout the course, you will go through five lessons that combine theory, practical demonstrations, and hands-on experiments:
- Getting Started with TOWER β environment installation, firmware upload, sensor connection.
- Measuring and Visualizing Data β working with temperature, humidity, light, and other sensors.
- Conditional Reactions β logic nodes, input responses, automation.
- Controlling Outputs β LED strips, color effects, and interactive elements.
- IoT Integration with Blynk β creating a dashboard for remote control and monitoring.

π Project Implementationβ
The project was carried out in the academic year 2024/2025 with the support of the Regional Innovation Program of the Liberec Region. The result is a fully developed IoT teaching methodology, available online and open for further development.
